The discussions over the bill on making changes in the Pension Fund
system continue in the NA.
Speaking at the NA head of the Armenian Revolutionary
Federation-Dashnaktustyun (ARF-D) Armen Rustamyan said, "And we thought
they are going to withdraw the funds, wanted to hail it. The government
of Tigran Sargsyan changed after well-known events one of which was the
pension system, but it seems there is no much difference between the
previous and incumbent governments. The hopes are gradually fading
away and will completely vanish in a while," he said, adding that
people are calculating their incomes which are gradually reducing.
"The authorities think that by raising salary they solve the issue
as the salaries of the employees of state sector are not enough
for living. People do not trust the authorities and the opposition
were trying to bring back this trust as we all are on the edge of
collapse," he said, asking why the government changed if they are
continuing the same policy.
"If the new government starts its activity in this way it will have
the fate of the previous government," he concluded.
