ARMENIA AND IRAN TO DEEPEN COOPERATION IN NATURE PROTECTION

YEREVAN, JUNE 27, ARMENPRESS. The Minister of Nature Protection of
the Republic of Armenia Aramayis Grigoryan received the Ambassador
of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Reyisi.
As "Armenpress" was informed from the Department of Public Relations
of the Ministry of Nature Protection, the Ambassador congratulated
Aramayis Grigoryan on the appointment as the Minister of Nature
Protection, conveyed the congratulations of the Head of Iran's
Environmental Protection Organization Masoumeh Ebtekar and noted:
"I am sure that the experience of the Armenian-Iranian long-term
cooperation in the field of nature protection will continue more
closely and will deepen in the future, because we are not only
neighbors, we are countries having friendly relations for thousands
of years". The Ambassador expressed hope that in the future it will
be possible to implement and give a constructive process to the
previously reached oral agreements.
Aramayis Grigoryan, expressing gratitude for the congratulations and
good wishes, underscored: "We highly appreciate the Armenian-Iranian
relations established on friendly bases, and from now on we will do
everything to successfully complete the joint projects and carry out
new ones".
