Armenia's Heritage Party elects new Executive Board

YEREVAN. - During its tenth congress on Saturday, Armenia's opposition
Heritage Party elected its new Executive Board.
The new board comprises fifteen persons including Heritage's Chairman,
ex-presidential candidate, former FM Raffi Hovannisian; Anahit
Bakhshyan, head of the opposition "Barev [Hello], Yerevan" faction at
the capital city Yerevan Council of Elders; Heritage's National
Assembly (NA) Faction Head Ruben Hakobyan; former Board Vice-Chairman
Armen Martirosyan; and Heritage's former NA Faction Head Zaruhi
Postanjyan.
Neither former Board Secretary, analyst Stiopa Safaryan--who has
decided to take time off and engage in analytical work--nor former
Board member Davit Sanasaryan are included in Heritage's new Executive
Board.
Once the makeup of the new board was announced, the party congress
came to an end.
