YEREVAN. - In actual fact, Russiahas declared war on Ukraine, 168

"The international community is attempting to prevent the threat of
war by diplomatic channels so far, including sanctions against Russia.
"Although no specific sanction has yet been imposed, the Russian
economy already has reacted to the processes that are taking place.
The Russian ruble continued to depreciate; the shares of the largest
Russian corporations have fallen, too; the players in the stock
market are in panic; [and] these are the results of solely the first
working day.
"It is not difficult to imagine what will happen with the economy
of Russia if military operations begin in Crimea; each day of these
operations will bring the collapse of the Russian economy closer.
"These events can have devastating consequences for Armenia, in
political and economic terms, alike," 168 Zham writes.
