LIVERPOOL missed out on signing Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan
over the summer, but they could have more luck this time around.
Mkhitaryan opted to sign for Borussia Dortmund, saying: "Liverpool
have a great past, but Borussia Dortmund has a great present."

But the Reds have surprised a lot of people this season, giving them
a realistic chance to claim the Premier League while Dortmund are 20
points behind Bayern.
The 25-year-old, who has set up seven and scored nine so far this
term, says he is happy in Germany but refused to rule out a switch
to Liverpool.
Mkhitaryan said: "Of course I know how much Liverpool wanted me,
but what happened, happened.
