Former US ambassador works on Armenia second president's PR? - newspaper

YEREVAN. - Zhamanak daily learned that former US Ambassador to Armenia
John Evans was in capital city Yerevan last week, the daily reports.
"Within the framework of this visit, he met with former [i.e., second]
President Robert Kocharyan, and went to his house.
"Evans also met with [non-pro-government] Prosperous Armenia [Party
National Assembly] Faction MP, ex-FM Vartan Oskanian, and visited The
Civilitas Foundation which he founded.
"There is a belief that he [i.e., Evans] is helping the second
president return to active politics, and his role in this process is
to provide connections in the US for Kocharyan, gauge the American
moods, and work on Kocharyan's PR," Zhamanak writes.
