EXPERT: TEHRAN HAS NEGATIVE ATTITUDE TOWARDS NATO PRESENCE IN SOUTH CAUCASUS

YEREVAN. - All players in the South Caucasus, including the U.S.,
must take into account regulating role of Iran, representative of
Iranian university said.
Mohammad Hasan Hani, representative of Imam Sadik university, said
Tehran has negative attitude towards NATO presence in the South
Caucasus that is explained by absence of Iran-U.S. relations for
several years.
When talking about regional security, the opinion of all actors must
be taken into account.
"The attempt to exclude Tehran's role in global politics strengthens
negative sentiments among the Iranians, which has negative impact on
normalization of relations between the West and Iran," he said.
