Etchmiadzin resident Ashot Khudoyan, who on March 17 together with his
wife and four childrenonce again began a sit-in outside the
president's residence, on Friday sent a letter to the RA General
Prosecutor to appeal the investigator's decision. This news was
conveyed to Epress.am by Khudoyan's wife, Heghine Makaryan. Recall, on
March 15, Khudoyan received a letter that stated the investigator
refused to initiate criminal proceedings.
Khudoyan claims that his sister, Marietta Kalashyan, forged his
grandfather's will and now wants to take his home. Khudoyan, in turn,
wants the authorities to launch a criminal investigation and determine
whether the will was forged or not.
"We are waiting until they will annul the decision to initiate
criminal proceedings or not. They will decide; then, if we didn't see
any results, from Monday we will take the sit-in to the general
prosecutor's office. The general prosecutor within 7 days will respond
whether it accepts or rejects our complaint," said Makaryan.
Khudoyan, in turn, announced his intention to go on a hunger strike.
The couple mentioned that on March 22, they will celebrate their son's
first birthday -- under very unusual circumstances.
"Let the president see what their officials can lead people to do who
will celebrate the birthday of a future soldier on the street outside
the president's resident," concluded Makaryan.
