ARMENIAN ENVOY INTRODUCES KARABAKH HISTORY TO CZECH STUDENTS

Armenian Ambassador to the Czhech Republic Tigran Seyranyan has
delivered a lecture on Nagorno-Karabakh for students of the Jan Neruda
University of Prague.
Andrey Martirosyan, a native of Karabakh, introduced visual facts at
the beginning to develop a better understanding of the country's past
and present. The ambassador then introduced the country's history,
addressing different epochs from the ancient times to our days
(including the latest developmets in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
settlement talks), says a statement by the Nagorno-Karabakh Foreign
Ministry.
The diplomat also called the participants' attention to the Czech
Repubic's balanced approach to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Jaromir Shtetina, a Czech senator and a good friend of the Armenian
nation who witnessed the Nagorno-Karabakh war, also delivered a lecture
to share his impressions and memories. He particularly dwelled on the
Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians' brave and painstaking struggle against the
Azerbaijani yoke and the liberation of the historical Armenian lands.
