Incumbent authorities exhausted all resources and it is impossible to
tie any hope with them - Aram Harutyunyan

    14:30 / 29.03.2014

The Council of Europe welcomed the opposition quartet, Armenian
representative of the Forum of European Armenian Communities Aram
Harutynyan told the reporters on Saturday.

"Those who are trying to humiliate the activity of the quartet are
serving to Baghramyan 26 [presidential residence]. I would offer this
quartet not to pay attention to their actions as their activity
depends only on the power of Serzh Sargsyan," he said.

The speaker said the incumbent authorities exhausted all the resources
and it is impossible to tie any hope with them. "The government has
failed all the spheres. Serzh Sargsyan keeps Tigran Sargsyan as body
armour but I say the blow will be so strong that the body armour will
not help and Serzh Sargsyan will feel the strength of the blow," he
said. The opposition quartet has an agenda and it is first of all the
    resignation of the government.

"The government's resignation depends on the political forces and the
people. I am sure that if the people and the four forces unite the
authorities will not stay for even a week," Aram Harutyunyan said.

Speaking about the pension funds and the hearing in the Constitutional
Court, Aram Harutyunyan said the system may become the last drop in
the patience of the Armenian people. "It is possible that everything
will start from it. Gagik Harutyunyan has historic chance to save
Serzh Sargsyan. Even if the CC adopts a good ruling the four must not
be satisfied with it and continue its fight," he said.
