Vladimir Putin is pleased to see that Russia remains a leading trade
and economic partner of Armenia.
The trade turnover between the states increased nearly by 11 percent
(10.6 percent) in 2013 as compared with the previous year, he said
during a meeting with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan in
Moscow.
President Putin noted that positive pace and growth dynamics is
preserved, and Russia remains the first investor in Armenia's economy.
`Following my visit to Armenia, huge work was done to implement the
arrangements that were achieved during the visit,' Putin said, adding
that he is happy to have a chance to see what else must be done to
accelerate the joint efforts.
