NAZARYAN NAMED ARMENIAN DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has appointed Karen Nazaryan, who
had been dismissed as the representative of the country at the UN on
April 22, 2014, as a deputy foreign minister.
Nazaryan was an Armenian envoy to Russia in 1992-1994, head of
the Armenian Foreign Ministry's office in 1994-1996, permanent
representative and then the ambassador of Armenia to the UN and other
international organizations in Geneva in 1996-2002, an advisor of the
foreign minister in 2002-2005, an extraordinary and plenipotentiary
ambassador to Iran in 2005-2009.
