ZHOGHOVURD: RECTORS SUSPECTED OF ABUSE IN ARMENIAN UNIVERSITIES?

The paper says it has learned from sources that rectors of several
state-funed universities of Armenia are suspected of committing abuses
in their educational institutions.
The Yerevan State University, the State Komotas Conservatory, the
Yerevan State Institute of Theater and Cinema, the National University
of Architecture and Construction and the Gavar State University are
said to be on the blacklist.
Citing its sources, the paper says that the General Prosecutor's
Office has ordered criminal cases under Article 308.1 of Armenia's
Criminal Code (Abuses of Official Authority, which is punishable by
arrest of two to three months or imprisonment of up to four years).
