Economist: Russian ruble's depreciation will affect Armenia's economy

Economist, member of Prosperous Armenia Party Vardan Bostanjyan says
the depreciation of the Russian ruble will definitely affect Armenia's
economy.
On Thursday, the Russian ruble fell by about 4% to exchange at 46.68
to the US dollar. This represents a 14-year low. Cumulatively, the
ruble has shed 25% of its value in 2014 alone, making it one of the
worst performers in the money markets.
Referring to Armenia's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU)
and expected changes in the country's economy, the expert told
Panorama.am that in case of membership in any organization, be it the
EEU or any other union, it is necessary to carry out effective and
correct economic policy as everything depends on that.
In Bostanjyan's words, there are all the necessary preconditions for
that and what is needed is will.
