ARMENIAN, FRENCH FMS DISCUSS KARABAKH CONFLICT IN PARIS

The Armenian and French foreign ministers discussed the latest
developments in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace talks as they met in
Paris on the sidelines of the Armenian top diplomat's working visit
to the country.
Highly praising the mediatory efforts of France and the other
co-chairing countries of the OSCE Minsk Group (US and Russia), Edward
Nalbandian stressed the importance of their joint activities towards
promoting a peaceful solution, reports the Armenian Foreign Ministry's
press service.
Ministers Nalbandian and Laurent Fabius further discussed the
arrangement of the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents' upcoming
meeting.
They both praised the high level of bilateral relations, stressing
the role of high-ranking mutual visits as a contributory factor.
The meeting agenda also covered urgent regional and international
issues.
