Hakob Injighulyan was subjected to violence and torture

In the RA Investigation Committee military investigation general
department preliminary investigation with regard to the case of
soldier Hakob Injighulyan is still underway.
During the preliminary investigation soldier Hakob Injighulyan was
interrogated. He described how he appeared in captivity and told about
violence subjected to him.
Taking into consideration the public interest to the case, we inform
that Hakob Injighulyan appeared in captivity because of getting lost.
He was subjected to violence and tortures during captivity. He was
made to speak what they wanted during the interviews.
During the meetings with Red Cross, he was forced to say that he
didn't want to return to Armenia.
Armenian soldier was in captivity for a year and didn't sign any
document during that time, except the document addressed to
Azerbaijani President for moving into the third country, which was
also written under pressure.
During the interview Hakob Injighulyan noted that during the military
service in Armenian Armed Forces, he had no problems with his service
and even expressed willingness to serve in the same unit.
Preliminary Investigation is underway.
