Generation Dialogue: Conference of future architects held in Armenia

Future architects met with leading professionals of the sector at a
youth conference held in the resort town of Tsaghkadzor on October 17
and 18.
The event, entitled Generation Dialogue, was organized by the Youth
Foundation of Armenia, the Ministry of Urban Development and the
Armenian National University of Architecture and Development in an
effort to promote the architectural potential and improve the
professional knowledge.
According to a press release by the foundation, the conference brought
together 40 bachelor's and master's students of the University, who
had a unique chance to meet with Minister of Urban Development Narek
Sargsyan, President of the Union of Architects Mkrtich Minasyan, and
different leading architects.
In his speech, Minister Sargsyan spoke about the title of the
architect, highlighting the role of the profession and the dialogue
between different generations.
Mr Minasyan introduced the students to the Union's activities and
international cooperation.
At the end, the young participants watched a movie about architect and
designer Rafael Israelyan.
