Yerevan refutes information on direct flights to Simferopol

The Main Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia (MDCA) refuted the
reports about the launch of Yerevan-Simferopol flights.
"The Main Department of Civil Aviation did not receive - and therefore
did not examine - a bid for operation of direct flights from Yerevan
to Simferopol," MDCA spokesman Ruben Grdzelyan told Interfax news
agency on Saturday.
Transport Minister of Crimea Anatoly Tsurkin earlier told the news
agency that Grozny Avia airline planned to launch Simferopol-Yerevan
flights from November 16.
