Nairit employees stage protest near government building

Workers of Nairit plant gathered for a protest near the government
building on Thursday, demanding their unpaid salaries.
They said the plant owes them salaries for 18 months. The protesters
also demanded the re-operation of the plant.
Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan
talked to the protesters. The official said that a new package of
proposals regarding the plant's future will be presented by September
15. He promised that the workers' salaries for one month will be paid
in the coming days.
