Youth Orchestra of Armenia to give concert at Aram Khachaturian
International Festival with DJ

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS: State Youth Orchestra of Armenia is
getting prepared for the 2nd Aram Khachaturian International Festival.
The music festival, which is named after the Armenian great composer,
will unite many talented and famous solo performers. Sergey Smbatyan,
art director and chief conductor of the State Youth Orchestra of
Armenia, promises that this year the event will differ from the
previous one.
"This year the festival will launch on September 16. The Youth
Orchestra will give a concert at Aram Khachatryan Concert Hall with DJ
Switch. Young people like good DJ-s very much. The DJ and symphonic
orchestra combination is actually very simple, because both speak in
the language of music. Just a synthesis is necessary.
During the concert we will present a concert written by Sergey
Prokofiev's grandson - Gabriel Prokofokiev", Sergey Smbatyan told
Armenpress. He noted that the concert has been performed in the United
Kingdom by London Philharmonic Orchestra and was a success.
Many other concerts will be organized during the festival as well.
"Well-known violinist Zakhar Bron will come to Armenia. He is the
lecturer of Vengerov and Nikolay Madoyan and is the best specialist of
violin in the world. The musician will conduct a master class in
Armenia, as well as will hold a solo concert.
Aram Khachaturian International Festival will wrap up on December 4.
Youth Orchestra of Armenia will give the last concert of the festival,
which will be dedicated to the 70th anniversary of "Armenian Society
for Cultural Cooperation with Foreign Countries" NGO.
