YEREVAN. - Emergency Situations Minister Armen Yeritsyan has not
received any proposal to become a member of the ruling Republican
Party of Armenia (RPA).
To a query, during a talk with several reporters on Tuesday, and
with respect to the likelihood of his joining the ruling party,
the minister responded:
"No. What does it have to do with anything? I didn't speak about
joining the RPA. I haven't received a [respective] proposal either."
Yeritsyan parted ways with the opposition Orinats Yerkir (Rule of Law)
Party in April, and to stay as minister.
