1 dead, several injured as Armenian Defense Ministry car falls into gorge

Around 5:00 pm on September 19, a GAZ-66 car of Armenian Defense
Ministry left the roadway and fell into a gorge near Artsvaberd
village in Tavush province, Defense Ministry said. The driver, Captain
Pavlik Manukyan, died at the scene.
The passengers of the car - Senior Lieutenant Harutyun Khacahtrayn,
Lieutenant Armen Hovsepyan, Junior Sergeants Grisha Grigoryan, Narek
Mirzoyan, Mher Vardanayn, Sergeant Boris Tunyan, and Privates Tigran
Ohanyan, Avetik Nazaryan, Artyom Abrahamyan, Ashot Sargsyan, Muraz
Sadoyan, and Vardges Khachatryan received injuries and were taken to
the military hospital of the city of Berd. They are in satisfactory
condition.
The Main Military Investigative Department of Armenia's Investigative
committee is conducting an investigation.
