President Sargsyan: Every Armenian is proud that we have such army

YEREVAN. - Each and every Armenian is proud that we have such an army,
which enjoys the trust and love of our entire nation, and serves as an
organizational model for us all.
President Serzh Sargsyan stated the abovementioned in his address at
Saturday's closing ceremony of the 5th Armenia-Diaspora Conference in
capital city Yerevan.
"The equitable settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh [, or Artsakh,]
conflict is the objective of us all. The solution of the
Nagorno-Karabakh issue is possible solely within the political and
diplomatic dimension, [and] by way of negotiations.
"Now, it is indispensable to present the lawful demand for the
international recognition the Nagorno-Karabakh people's right to
self-determination, the battle imposed upon them, the courage and
endurance of the people of Artsakh, [and their] will and inherent
right to live in independence and with dignity.
"The war is not yet over; [but] it is crowned with a ceasefire that
has recorded our triumph. And today, the Armenian borders are
protected owing to our undefeated and combat-ready army. The Armenian
army will prevent any encroachment, it will never succumb, and it will
keep the boundaries of the two Armenian states impenetrable.
"Armenia, Artsakh, and the [Armenian] Diaspora must continue to fight
together for the recognition of the Nagorno-Karabakh people's right to
self-determination, [and] the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic's becoming a
full member of the international community," President Sargsyan
specifically stated.
