Italian and Vatican press widely covered the official visit of Serzh
Sargsyan at the Vatican
Amid news of the fate of Eastern Christians threatened by Islamist
groups, the official visit of Armenian President to the Vatican du18
September 19 was widely reported in the press and other Italian media.
The President of Armenia, Prime Christian state in the world has also
visited the exhibition "The Eastern Christians face the challenges of
the new millennium" whose primary purpose was to attract the attention
of public opinion on the plight of Middle East Christians. Armenian
