Thousands of tools of the Paleolithic era, dating back to around
325 then thousand years ago, were discovered at a site armeno. The
scientists have obtained more information on how ancient technological
progress advanced and spread around the world.
The international team of researchers has been able to confirm that
an ancient technique called Levallois, used to create weapons for
hunting, was conceived in Africa and then spread to other continents.
As soon as human populations enlarged, the Levallois techniques biface
and quickly spread to throughout Africa to Eurasia. According to
scholars, the technique biface was developed independently and is not
a product of Levallois, although the two are very similar in technique.
