Allahshukur Pashazadeh: "I, Patriarch Kirill and Armenians' Catholicos
Karekin can have a trilateral meeting in the near future"

"Some forces want to organize provocations in Azerbaijan"
Moscow. Farid Akberov - APA. "We have been discussing some issues with
Patriarch Kirill for a while," said Chairman of Caucasian Muslim Board
(CMB), Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh, who is in Russia,
APA reports.
Pashazadeh said that they touched on the issues concerning the Islamic
and Christian world at the meeting: "One of the most important issues
we discussed was the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. If this conflict was
prevented in time, the ongoing processes wouldn't have occurred in the
post-Soviet space. We discussed ways to resolve the conflict with the
Patriarch. Of course, we are not politicians. We focused on the
question "how can we help politicians as religious figures?" I,
Patriarch Kirill and Armenians' Catholicos Karekin can have a
trilateral meeting in the near future. We discussed this meeting. We
agreed on some issues. Patriarch and I will meet with Karekin. We will
fix the date of the meeting in the future."
Allahshukur Pashazadeh noted that some forces want to organize
provocations in Azerbaijan. Some forces want to commit sabotage in the
areas of Russia where Muslims are living such as Tatarstan,
Bashkortostan and the North Caucasus. We discussed it with the
Patriarch too. Patriarch attaches great importance to tolerance in
Azerbaijan. We developed a program on the further works and will work
on this program in the future."
