Kim Kardashian champions Harper's Bazaar director's label A.W.A.K.E
after fashion-mad husband discovered it online
'Kanye introduced me to her and she's part Armenian, like me'

She has millions in the bank, the world's most coveted designers on
speed dial and brands practically throwing free clothes at her.
But Kim Kardashian has been quietly championing a lesser-known brand
during her time in Paris and thanks to the reality TV star's seal of
approval, it looks set to become the next big thing.
The style icon, who is currently recovering from being accosted by a
celebrity pest on the red carpet, has stepped out in designer label
A.W.A.K.E. twice in four days.
So who's behind this little-known label and how did fashion's finest
discover it? In a word: Kanye.
Stand out in a sculptural dress like Kim
It's very unusual for Kim Kardashian to wear the same thing again, in
fact we don't think we've seen it for a long time, apart from her
heels of course. So when we spotted her in this black version of the
same dress she wore in white only a couple of days previous, by her
new favourite brand A.W.A.K.E., we were surprised.
We don't blame her though. Just look how amazing it looks on her. The
white version certainly turned heads, and this black one, although
only slightly more understated, is still an incredible dress.
You might have already read our Fashion Finder on her white version,
but if not, just a brief outline of the brand: Natalia Alaverdian,
fashion director for Harper's Bazaar Russia, launched the label just
two years ago. This collection, autumn 2014, is inspired by peacocks,
hence the intricate design.
We love this sculptural shape on Kim, and she is obviously a huge fan
of Natalia Alaverdian's work, so we are sure we'll see her in more
from this designer very soon!
