INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY MUST DRAW SERIOUS CONCLUSIONS FROM THE INCIDENT CONNECTED TO ANDRANIK GRIGORYAN: DAVID BABAYAN

YEREVAN, 1 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. Press speaker of the President of
Artsakh David Babayan views the video message of Armenian soldier
Andranik Grigoryan, who crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani border,
as a interrogation on video, torture on video. In an interview with
"Armenpress", Babayan stressed that Andranik Grigoryan was assaulted
on the Azerbaijani side.
"He was assaulted. It appears that he is in poor physical and
psychological condition. This goes to show once again that we are
dealing with an abnormal and fascist state that violates legal, moral,
political and international norms and rights. We shouldn't feel bitter
when we hear the words that that person says in that poor condition.
He is forced to say that. They are torturing him. It's likely that
they're using chemical substances. It's clear that he's reading the
text on a screen. There are even places where his words have been
cut off. The editing is very bad," said David Babayan, adding that
the international community must draw serious conclusions from this.
