YEREVAN, 1 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. By April 24 the Armenian pupils, as
guards of honor, will commemorate the Armenian Genocide victims at
the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial. Within the framework of the events
of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, on April 1, the
"honor guard" pupillary duty was launched at the eternal fire of the
Tsitsernakaberd Memorial. The event was attended by the Minister of
Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Armen Ashotyan. The
Minister described the event as an unprecedented action.

"The students of Armenia will stand guard of honor at the
Tsitsernakaberd Memorial. This initiative of the Ministry of Education
and Science of the Republic of Armenia has been approved by the State
Commission Coordinating the Genocide Centennial Events. On April 1-23,
every day at 10:00-18:00, the students from different schools will
commemorate the Armenian Genocide victims by shift. This eruption
and desire was normal. It didn't require a promotional work, as the
idea was immediately accepted by all schools. The majority of parents
welcomed this ceremony", - Armen Ashotyan noted, Armenpress reports.
