NCTR MUST BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR ITS WRONG DECISIONS: ARAVOT

In 2002 on this day "A1+" TV company was deprived of the opportunity
to broadcast programs on its own channel. National Commission on
Television and Radio (NCTR) decided that "A1+", which had provided
24-hour broadcasting for a long time, in term of its technical,
financial resources and professional staff was inferior to a company,
which was famous only for its skills of broadcasting separate programs.
That for deciding the winner the standards set by law had been assessed
incorrectly and that their resources weren't enough became obvious
after some time, when the license was passed to another person. This
channel changed owners for three times. And the representatives of the
staff of "A1+", whose professional skills had been assessed so low,
graced any workplace, where they appeared. But the representatives
of the NCTR never, even after the judgment of the European Court of
Human Rights, confessed that they had made wrong assessments on April
2, 2002.
