    CHURCH MARKS 100 YEARS SINCE GENOCIDE

    In remembrance of the Armenian Genocide's 100th anniversary, the
    Ladies' Society of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Ventura County
    will present a free concert featuring the works of composer and
    Westlake Village resident Albert Darakjian on Sun., April 12 at St.

    Patrick's Episcopal Church, One Church Road, Thousand Oaks.

    The concert will commence about 1:45 p.m. immediately after divine
    liturgy services.

    A reception will follow the concert.

    Pianist Christine DeKlotz will play Darakjian's music.

    Darakjian's works have been performed by the Glendale Symphony,

    Orange County Symphony of Garden Grove, Conejo Symphony Orchestra
    and the Sierra Philharmonic.

    Special guest pianist Alan Roubik of Agoura Hills will play two
    original compositions dedicated to the memory of the victims and
    families of the Armenian Genocide.

    Roubik's works have been heard on television and radio worldwide.
