The advisor to the head of the Investigative Committee Sona Truzyan
did not comment on why the representatives of the Founding Parliament
    have been detained.

Note that Zhirair Sefilyan, Varouzhan Avetisyan, Toros Sefilyan and
Pavel Manukyan have been detained, the Founding Parliament informed.

In the morning the office of the Founding Parliament, as well as
the apartment of Hovhannes Ghazaryan in Vanadzor town were searched,
Hovhannes Ghazaryan was detained as well.

In answer to our questions why the aforementioned people were
arrested and whether the relevant agencies possessed any credible
information that the arrested people were going to organize massive
unrest on April 24, Sona Truzyan told Lragir.am the following:
"The investigative committee has already issued a press release in
the morning. We cannot provide more detailed information. We will
provide information later. Investigative actions are underway. We
will inform about the results additionally."

Note that the RA Investigative Committee's message stated that the
intension to use massive events for vested interests spans over the
    boundaries of morality.

At the same time, it informed that the criminal proceedings had been
    launched beforehand.

"At the same time, such actions contain prima facie features of
preparation for a crime of organizing massive unrests envisaged by
the RA Criminal Code, therefore the RA Investigative Committee's
General Department of Investigation of Cases of Special Importance
has brought proceedings under Article 25-225 of the RA Criminal Code,"
the message of the RA Investigative Committee informed.
