CONSOLIDATION OF COMMUNITIES IN ARMENIA NOT TO SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS - ECONOMIST
YEREVAN, April 8. /ARKA/. Vilen Khachatryan, an economist, commenting
on the three pilot projects implying consolidation of communities
in Armenia's Lori, Syunik and Tavush provinces, said consolidation
of communities in Armenia will not solve their problems, but will
create new woes instead.

Khachatryan thinks that mechanical mergers are not able to
produce economic effect until rural areas' infrastructures remain
underdeveloped.
