ARMENIAN-ITALIAN MILITARY COOPERATION ON PRESIDENT'S AGENDA

ROME, APRIL 9, ARMENPRESS: In the framework of the official visit
of the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan to
Italy, the Head of State met with the Minister of Defense of Italy
Roberta Pinotti. A key issue in the agenda of the bilateral military
cooperation is the Armenian peacemakers' mission in Lebanon as a part
of the Italy's Forces under the auspices of the UN. Italy called the
Republic of Armenia to increase the number of the Armenian peacemakers
in Lebanon.
The meeting of the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan
and the Minister of Defense of Italy Roberta Pinotti will be followed
by a videoconference with the Armenian and Italian servicemen in
Lebanon. The General of the General Staff of the Italy's Ministry
of Defense will present a special report to the President of the
Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and the Minister of Defense of
Italy Roberta Pinotti on the operative situation of the mission.
The agenda of the meetings of the official visit of the President
