Aravot: Despite funds spent, traffic jams in Yerevan do not decrease

At least twice a day on workdays, kilometer-long traffic jams form in
Arshakunyats Ave. and other central streets of Yerevan, Aravot
reports. The increased number of new tunnels and overhead roads in the
capital city did not lead to the decrease of the traffic jams.
"To justify the spending on a new road or underground crossing, which
exceeds millions, the municipal authorities state every time that they
are unloading the city center," the newspaper comments.
