The Richmond, VA City Council commemorated the Armenian Genocide
Centennial with a unanimously adopted proclamation, spearheaded by
Councilman Jonathan Baliles, reports the Armenian National Committee
of America (ANCA).
The Armenian Genocide Centennial Committee of Central Virginia's Sona
Kerneklian Pomfret, ANC of Virginia's Bedros Bandazian, the St James
Parish Council's Robert Norris III, prominent businessman Charlie
Diradour, and a host of other community members were present from the
ARS Hooys Chapter, St James Women's Guild, St James Cultural Committee,
and St James Education Center.
