EVENT DEDICATED TO CENTENNIAL OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE HELD AT THE NATIONAL ARMENIAN SCHOOL OF KUWAIT

YEREVAN, 17 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. On April 16, the Ambassador of Armenia
to Kuwait Fadey Charchoghlyan has participated in the events dedicated
to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, which was held in the
National Armenian School of Kuwait. The Primate of Diocese Kuwait Very
Reverend Masis Zopuyan and the representatives of the national Armenian
organizations of Kuwait also attended the event. As "Armenpress"
informed from the Facebook page of the Armenia's Embassy to Kuwaiti the
opening speech was made by Very Reverend Masis Zopuyan, who emphasized
the fact of existence of independent and strong Homeland for all the
Armenians - The Republic of Armenia, as well as he expressed a special
gratitude to the Embassy of Armenian and personally to the Ambassador
for staying beside the Armenian community and his active support.
The speeches were followed by the recitation and singing solo and
group performances of the school's students of various ages, as well
as patriotic and folk songs, excerpts from the works of great poets
Paruyr Sevak and Hovhannes Shiraz were sounded.
