ASSETS DECLARED BY MAYORS OF ARMENIAN CITIES

Tert.am's survey into the money and property assets declared by
high-ranking officials has this time focused on the mayors of major
cities and towns.
The richest turns out to be Taron Margaryan, the mayor of capital
Yerevan, whose assets increased by 35 million Drams (approx $75,000)
as of January. In late 2014, Margaryan declared, 250 million Drams
(approx $530,000), 50,000 US Dollars and 50,000 Euros.
At the beginning of this year, the mayor alienated land property
worth 156,473,000 Drams (over $330,000) and one vehicle, a RANGE ROVER
Supercharged 4.2 VOGUE, worth an equivalent of over 30,000. His spouse,
Gohar Sargsyan, declared 50 million Drams (over $100,000) both at the
beginning and at the end of 2014. Her money property was the same in
2013. No tax income data are available on Sargsyan's declaration.
The Mayor of Gyumri, Samvel Balasanyan, declared 5 million Drams
(over $10,000) and US 15,000 US Dollars at the beginning of 2014. At
the end of the year, his registered money property amounting to 4
million Drams ($8,5000) and 14,000 US Dollars. There are no available
data on the spendings made.
Vanadzor Mayor Manvel Darbinyan's financial assets totaled AMD 4.2m
as of the end of last year against AMD 6.45m early last year. Early
in 2013, according to his income statement, his financial assets
totaled AMD 10.265m, whereas they totaled AMD 6.4m at the end of
2013. Mr Dabrinyan's incomes totaled AMD 3.2m last year.
Mayor of Echmiadzin Karen Grigoryan's financial assets totaled AMD
5.4m, US $1.500 and EURO 4,900. His incomes exceeded AMD 2.3m.
Hrazdan Mayor Armen Danielyan's assets totaled AMD 15.35m at the end
of last year - an increase of AMD 3m as compared to the previous year.
Mr Danielyan's assets totaled 5.2m early in 2013.
His annual incomes totaled AMD 2.693m.
