ARMENIAN WRITER HRANT MATEVOSYAN COMMEMORATED ON HIS BIRTHDAY

Armenian writer, script writer Hrant Matevosyan would have turned
80 today. Commemoration ceremony of the writer took place today in
Komitas park pantheon.
Government members headed by the prime minister Hovik Abrahamyan,
Yerevan mayor Taron Margaryan, Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian,
PAP faction secretary Naira Zohrabyan, many intellectuals, writers
paid tribute to the memory of the outstanding writer.
Professor Vazgen Gabrielyan, speaking to reporters at the ceremony
said, "Matevosyan's works are loved by all, the young people love him,
read him and highly value him. Matevosyan will always be valuable
for his friends. He is one of our great writers and his trace is
unraisable."
