CHORRORD ISHKHANUTYUN: ERNEKIAN ABANDONS PLANS TO BUY MFA BUILDING

Eduardo Ernekian, the Argentine-Armenian businessman who was earlier
reported to be planning to purchase the Foreign Ministry's building,
is said to have given up the idea.
Citing its "well-informed sources", the paper says that the owners of
other companies which share part of the premises (Ararat Restauran
and Noyan Tapan Bookstore) have offered a very high price to which
the businessman didn't agree.
The paper notes that Ernekyan has only recently changed his mind
despite the fact that the problem was on the agenda for over a year.
