RUSSIAN SOLDIER CONFESSES TO KILLING SIX IN GYUMRI

In the first inquiry after detention Russian soldier Valery Permyakov
has confessed to killing a family of six in Gyumri, First Deputy
Chief of Police Hunan Poghosyan told a press conference this morning.
Permyakov is currently kept at the Russian military base. It's not
clear so far which country will continue the investigation of the
case - Armenia or Russia.
Yesterday the Russian side launched a criminal case against Permyakov.
The Armenian and Russian law-enforcement bodies are currently
negotiating the issue of transferring Valery Permyakov to the
Armenian side.
