AFTER ARMENIA'S ACCESSION TO EURASIAN ECONOMIC UNION ITS CITIZENS HAVE RIGHT TO BE EMPLOYED IN RUSSIA
YEREVAN, January 13./ARKA/. After Armenia's accession to the Eurasian
Economic Union on January 2 its citizens enjoy equal rights with
Russia's people for employment in Russia, Novosti-Armenia reports
referring to the information RIA Novosti has received from the Russian
government. Armenia signed the accession agreement in October 2014, and
parliaments of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan have already ratified it.
"In addition to exemption from migration registration within 30 days of
staying in Russia in accordance with the Russian-Armenian agreement,
Armenia's citizens also get the same right to be employed in Russia
as Russian citizens," the government said. "It means employers may
attract Armenian citizens without taking into account restrictions
in protection of the national labor market."
No permission is required from Armenian citizens for working in
Russia. Education certificates and diplomas issued in Armenia are
recognized also in Russia, and recognition procedures are necessary
only for pedagogical, juridical, medical and pharmaceutical activities.
Period of Armenian citizens and their families' presence in Russia
is determined by terms of their labor or civil law contracts sealed
with employers.
In the event of early termination of contacts no earlier than in 90
days after they entered Russia, Armenian citizens may sign another
labor contract within 15 days without leaving Russia's territory.
Employees from Armenia enjoy the same social insurance, excluding
pensions, as Russia's citizens, and the period of working in Russia
is added to their labor records. --0-----
