Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has declined his Turkish counterpart
Recep Tayyip Erdogan's invitation to visit Ankara on April 24, 2015,
to mark the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Gallipoli,
Erdogar made the invitation at a press conference with Azerbaijani
President Ilham Aliyev yesterday. Turkey will mark the 100th
anniversary of victory at Canakkale on April 24, foreign leaders were
invited for celebrations.
Armenia will mark the 100th anniversary of Armenian genocide on the
very same day as the celebrations of the Gallipoli victory.
