The Armenian National Assembly is planning a closed-door committee
session next week to discuss the recent family murder in the second
largest city.
Citing its sources, the paper says that the handover of Valery
Permyakov, the Russian serviceman charged with committing the crime,
will be on the agenda.
The meeting, to be conducted jointly by the Standing Committees on
State and Legal Affairs, and Defense, National Security and Internal
Affairs, will be reportedly attended also by Head of the Investigative
Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan, Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan,
representatives from the Foreign Ministry, and other government
officials.
