Latvia wants Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to be resolved peacefully

Latvia believes that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict must be resolved
peacefully, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia,
Edgars RinkÄ`viÄ?s said.
`Latvia is convinced that this long-drawn-out conflict must only be
resolved by peaceful means and in accordance with international law,'

In addition, according to RinkÄ`viÄ?s, Riga as current chairman of the
European Union fully supports the OSCE Minsk group in resolving the
conflict.
The minister also stressed that it is crucial to maintain direct
high-level contacts between Armenia and Azerbaijan in a conflict
settlement.
