    RUSSIAN GAS SUPPLIES TO ARMENIA HIKE BY 5.4% IN 2014

    YEREVAN, January 26. /ARKA/. Russian gas supplies to Armenia increased
    by 5.4% to 2,061.7 million cubic meters in 2014, the press office of
    Gazprom Armenia reported.

    A total of 2,010.8 million cubic meters of gas were billed, a 3.4%
    increase compared to the year before.

    In 2014 against 2013, gas consumption in energy sector grew by 16.2%
    and consumption by liquefied gas filling stations rose by 5.9% to
    594.1million and 481.8 million cubic meters respectively.

    Other customers used 176.5mln cubic meters, 2.7% more this year than
    the year before.

    Consumption by households dropped by 4.4% and consumption by industry
    declined by 9.4% - to 515.4 million and 243.1 million cubic meters
    respectively.

    Gazprom Armenia, 100% owned by Russian Gazprom, deals with gas
    supplies to Armenia. The company is also engaged in transportation,
    storage, distribution and sale of natural gas, reconstruction and
    expansion of the gas transmission system and underground gas storage
    facilities. -0--
