Minister: Russia's military presence in Armenia solving global regional problem

YEREVAN. - Tragedy in Gyumri must not drive a wedge between Armenia
and Russia, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said during a briefing on
Tuesday.
Relations with the Russian side are developing in bilateral format and
within CSTO, in addition, joint military drills are held. As to the
security issue, the Armenian Armed Forces are capable of tackling
problems created by Azerbaijan, the Minister emphasized.
He added that Russia's military presence is solving a global regional
problem, taking into account presence of such a neighbor as Turkey.
