Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said
today that besides defense, the Armenian side can also take preventive
measures against the rival's actions.
"We can turn the rival's territory into a hotspot and they won't be
able to deal with it. The rival is mistaken thinking Armenia won't
resort to other actions for the sake of maintaining ceasefire", the
Minister said this talking to journalists.
Seyran Ohanyan stressed that the situation is not acceptable for the
Armenian military and political leadership.
"We should make a radical decision - either to adhere to the ceasefire
agreement, or take relevant measures to force peace to the rival. If
our neighbor doesn't understand that he should stick to the ceasefire
agreement, he should be given an abrupt response, and we are capable
of doing it", he said.
"The rival's armed forces can't have any impact in terms of quantity
as in terms of quality and combat training, we are in a better state",
added Seyran Ohanyan.
