Manvel Grigoryan to Seyran Saroyan: Do you want me to interfere? (video)

Representatives of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union today visited the
Yerablur Pantheon on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the
Armenian army.
Speaking about the recent escalation of tensions on the
Armenian-Azerbaijani border, General Seyran Saroyan from the ruling
Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) said, "Today we all need to support
our army and encourage our servicemen. We should let them know that
they enjoy the support of the entire nation."
Commenting on Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan's statement on the
ceasefire violations, Mr Saroyan said, "If they [Azeris] try to attack
us, we shall definitely respond to their attacks." Asked whether he
meant to say that the Armenian side is to take the first step and open
fire, Mr Saroyan said, "Why should we be the first to fire? No, we are
the winning party. The blame will fall on the side that started a war.
If they try to resume hostilities, they will receive an adequate
response."
When he was asked to comment on the recent brutal murder in Gyumri
city, the general said, "Why do you want me to speak about the tragedy
on this happy day? Russians will punish their soldier more severely.
That murderer deserves the maximum sentence."
At that moment General Manvel Grigoryan hurried to help his friend and
'save' him from journalists. "Saroyan, do you want me to interfere?"
