Iran, Armenia ties good model for world: Sargsyan
TEHRAN, Jan. 28 (MNA) - Armenian President stressed relations between
Iran and Armenia could be a good model for other countries, stressing
that he would never take any stance against Iran in international
forums.
In his meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Iran's FM
Mohammad Javad Zarif conveyed greetings of President Rouhani and
expressed hope to coordinate President Rouhani's visit to Armenia in
2015.
"We are looking for establishing good ties between Islamic Republic of
Iran and Christian Armenia and tend to raise the relations in all
fields," Zarif said, expressing gratitude over Armenia's position in
international communities to support Iran.
President Serzh Sargsyan, for his part, said Iran-Armenia relation
could be a good model for other countries, stressing the continuation
of cooperative ties between the two countries.
He emphasized that he would not take any stance against Iran in
international forums.
